      My Original color!

      Okay,

We hvave been planing on painting this car (1967 firebird convert.) Green from the begining of the plan. Then I look up the tag and find the car was green from the factory, after we pulled off the front end I find a good bit of the color.

      What do you think?

Would you paint it this color again?

Is this the color you were going to paint it anyway?

If so, then great, your decision is made.

If not, why change your original plan?

Well, not that exact color. We were not 100% on the shade of green.

      This is Verdoro Green btw.

You could always paint it that same base and add a pearl, or cover it with a candy coat for an added twist. Personally, I like the green.

I vote YES as well. Go with Rich's suggestions and give it a little 'depth'.

Green? Love it! I originally wanted a British racing green color for my Mustang Coupe but thought it was a little boring...so I settled on GM Polo Green. You see it on late model Vettes and Cadillacs. It is real dark and looks black without direct light.

My 68 is Deep Fathom Green Metallic, actually a 69 color, but looks great out in the sun, sort of like the GM Polo green KM's talking about,

There is a 69 camaro with the Fathom Green...I think? Isn't that the one with the C4 Suspension front and rear and looks stock except for the wheels...if so nice color too.

      Definately green!

I love green cars, the first Dodge I owned was a 1970 Coronet 500 which was green exterior/green lizard skin top with green interior. I didn't care for it at first but the more I drove it the more I liked it. I was surprised with how many positive comments I received from people. It may not bring the same money as a red car if you were to sell it but I usually build for myself anyway. Sure are a lot of 1st gen firebirds starting to show up.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

      Original color

My 67' was also V. green from the factory. It is a great color, but couldn't convince my wife (LOL). I noticed that you are from New Albany. Do you every make it to the South side of Indy on Saturdays? They have kinda a small cruise in at the "suds". Car Craft did a story on it awhile back. Anyway there is a guy there that has a V. green bird w/ a black vinyl top. It looks awesome. If i got to pick I would paint mine that color, but as bad as it sounds I wanted my wife to help pick the color to feel like she was part of the project.
