      68 Camaro Window Rattle

I have replaced everything in my passengerdoor window assembly and still get a rattle when I hit a bump or go over railroad tracks. I am thinking there must be just enought play in the new requlator that allows that movement.

Has anyone else had this problem?

      Thanks

      rattle

Check the rod that locks the doors. It should have a sleeve over it to keep it from contacting
the inside frame of the door. Check to make sure the guide that has the black material on it
is contacting the door glass when the window is rolled downs this keeps the door glass tight.

Is the entire window rattling or just a metallic sound?

      Window Rattle

It is a metallic sound only when you hit a bump or crossing railroad tracks. I believe the new regulator is allowing the window to move up and then down.
