I am trying to find the cheapest SLS prototyper or any prototyper out there that can make these for me on the cheap or on the side. They will allow me to adapt factory gauges out of one truck and mount them in this pod so I can mount them effortlessly into my factory cluster.

I want to start using stereo-lithography to duplicate small parts on my own, a lot of people think that it is a good idea however, I'm not sure what the costs of this would be, a member on the thread mentioned stereo-lithography thought I was the only one who was interested in doing something that had to do with it. Does anyone know what the costs are based on?

A quick Google search on that showed they start close to $100k... were you planning on buying one yourself?

Depending on how small the parts are you can pick a RPM up for about $35,000 and up. We had one in school that would do small parts, we would pump out hot wheels sized toy cars all day long :D . If you want something big enough to pump out a control arm then that will start in the $150,000 range and up new, but you can find stuff like this used all over the place with all the manufacturing jobs that have been lost in the last 3 years.

I would call up corey weber of Agent 47. His day job is Forecast3D a stereo-lithography company. I just had him build a piece for my day job. And the price was very reasonable.

Not a lot of people like to share their suspension geometry only due to the time to dial it all in. But if you are just modeling a front suspension with your own geometry I bet it would take you a day at most.
