Cool thread and some very sweet designs
I'm trying to get a model made of a G-Body rearend, mainly the control arm attachment points for a ladder bar-type setup I have an idea for. Is there any chance someone has these measurements, or even better a Unigraphics file of the rear?-Darren-

Free Form modeling is another term for surface modeling. There is no straight line, or primitive shape. Its all spline and arcs. Here is a real small example of a car body side molding.

I picked up a copy of SW a few weeks ago so I've been playing around trying to learn and figured I would post my first item that has a bit of complexity to it. The center section of the housing is based on a dodecagon (12 sided polygon). Not complete as I have not figured out how to model a ring and pinion yet. Any tips for how to figure the math for an equation based gear. Had to be a lil artsy and make half of it out of smoked glass.
I am pretty pleased considering my very limited experience with SW.
