      Howdy

Good afternoon fellers, New guy here. I'm just a guy with a chevelle doing what he can to go faster. Cars on jackstands of course. I'm a young guy whos getting into fabrication industry, and after wanting more out of this car I will be doing just that. I haven't really done anything on the car that's out-of-the-ordinary and had nothing on the forums, but there's big things coming for this car that I DEFINITELY want to document on the forums.
Car currently has a 720hp (estimated :D) 416 LS3 i built, no trans but soon-to-be RPM T56 Magnum, 12 bolt with 3.42s, F&R UMI control arms, coilsprings, 17" wheels, not sticky enough tires and not a good enough driver.
I autocrossed it on stock-style upgraded suspension/brakes, 600hp 6.0 and a 4L80, I surprised myself at how decent I performed at LSFest West 2021 (16th in the Grand Champion class of 52 cars), but with glaring shortcomings and I want more. I then blew the engine up (spectacularly) at Chuckwalla raceway in May as a result of various mecnahical failures so that was the tipping point. Its all coming apart again.

In the coming weeks I'll be pulling the body to do a HPI Customs frame kit, ridetech coilovers F&R, Wilwood brakes F&R, Eaton TruTrac, Speedtech spindles, and the BIGGIE is a custom 3 Link and Watts link. I might do a few iPhone videos and post on a youtube channel, not sure yet.
This might sound WAY out of some guys league's, but I'm just a kid with hand tools and a welder! I aim to prove that guys wayy overthink these kind of things and immediately count them out of their build list after quickly overwhelming themselves.
But anyways..following posts will be some pictures of the car when I figure out how to operate this website :3
      Cheers

Some of my favorite pics of the car come from Palomar Mountain in california and from the track day i blew my engine at, Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.
Engine failure was 2 dropped valves due to valve float from me raising the rev limiter to 7600RPM to be able to wind 2nd gear higher without shifting, because i lost 3rd and 4th gears from the 106° heat. Spectacular souveneirs from that breakage though.
Since i moved to Kansas in september, it took a while to get the car here (let alone all my tools) but ive done a proper transmission tunnel, and collecting parts.

Nice car and the build should be fun. Sucks to see the motor bite the dust. Good luck on the build and getting everything back together.
