Very nice vince..Well being that the 69 is my fav nova year you could
just give it too me and then you will be so happy and you'll make a old
      dude feel young again!

Really though..i think i would just update the interior a bit, covans dash
auto-meters,some comfy seats,i even like the wheels,a nice clean simple
ride and drive to enjoy it.

She looks very nice Vince! It's VERY clean and quite a good find. Since it appears to be a factory 6-cyl or SB car (10-bolt, Powerglide gear selector and 6-cyl fan shroud), I'd say either PT the sucker or as Jim mentioned just update a few items for comfort/safety, then drive and enjoy! I don't think I've ever seen a Nova interior that color before, but I like! It might be hard to find interior componets to match, but the blue goes well with the white.

      Dan (very jealous.... )

looks great as is... I agree w/ the others -- have fun for a while with it as is before
you start tearing it apart. you know that "just 1 mod" will turn into a complete tear
down, so rack up some miles before that happens! ;-)

Looks kinda like what my car looked like. My vote is to modernize it and make it more driver friendly. On the looks part I would make it look like a 60's street racer that was a sleeper.

Andrew's got a pretty cool idea, Vince. It kind of goes back to that convo we had a while back. Turn her into a 60s/early 70s street racer...

That's what I'm done with mine, slotted dish aluminum wheels 15X3 Fenton Spyro-Gyras on the front, Looking for some to put on the rear,

Going back to the factory Gold color, maybe with a white painted roof, and Yenko strips or no strips at all, Have to see when it gets paint,

I was maybe thinking GE refrigerator white paint color, with some 15X7 balck steelies and a set of Dog Dish hub caps,

I'm deffinately doing the Steelies with dog dish caps, steath super sleeper look,

Show us some pics of the plan,
Steve68- 1968 Camaro SS LSX T56, 12bolt 3:90's, 18" Fikse Profil 13s, Deep Fathom Green paint, Spearcos, just bunch of old junk because another member said so, LOL

      70 Nova SS street/drag 454, T400, 3:55, ugly!

Thats exactly what I want. If only they could be done in a 17" or even a 18" would be sick.

Looks like a good foundation for just about anything Vince: straight, well cared for, and virtually no rust. Good kill.

thanks for the great suggestions guys, and most of you have been reading my mind.

It is a real nice clean car, yes Dan it was an original 6cyl car, keen eye but you wouldn't be able to tell 2 weeks from now. I picked up alot of extra big block goodies.Still trying to hunt down a 12 bolt for it. These 4.11's suck! LOL

Older person owned that didn't drive it much and had a well heated garage.A friend put it together using some parts from other projects. The engine is out of a 69 Camaro been rebuilt and has rectangular port heads. He updated it with a nice Comp extreme cam. I just put on a Weiand intake so I could get the stock hood back on it...anyone need a 4" bolt on Harwood cowl induction hood?

My plans are to build a nice SS clone and modernize it abit. Big rims, big brakes and suspension is in the works. Should be for sale in the summer. "hint, hint Frank"
I was going to go COPO look but doggie dishes just aren't me right now...I have a set for the right car.

well if you know me...i just can't leave well enough alone...

      wheel are in.

Well I decided to go with a factory rim for my 69 project. 17x9 10 spokes. Well after carefull deliberation with my court I found 9" in front will be more trouble than its worth so I decided to get my rims narrowed.
I bought my rims from a kat on the LS1 board and had them shipped direct to Weldcraft. I called james and we chatted about the rims. Super nice guy and great customer service A++. 5 days after they arrived at Weldcraft they were ready and where shipped out. WOW that was fast. 3 days later my rims were here. Very nice job and the original finish was still cherry. Very satisfyed with Weldcraft.

Now it was time to fit the rims. Thanks to zbugger half the work was done 2 weeks before and I needed spacers made. I then turned to JR at Motorsport Technology. We disscussed my needs and we had the dimentions I needed. I dropped Steve Rupps name when I was asked where I found his info and was charged an extra 22% to my total cost for doing so. Note to self...next time mention the yellow pages. LOL j/k

Well after 6 days of the call I get my spacers in the mail...work of art, very nice and even new metric lug studs to match my ATS spindles.
Now im just waiting on tires.
