      Need Ratio Advice

I currently have an axle ratio of 2.73:1 and am wondering if this will be a good ratio for running with an overdrive (200R4). This will be a daily driver and I want a good top end without taking forever to get it there. Any advice? Thanks.

      I would look in the 3.42 / 3.55 range

I would use one of the ratio calculators like the one on the Bowtie Overdrives site. Then, for best acceleration decide what you want your top speed to be and gear so that your peak horsepower rpm is matched to your speed.
With the 2.73 gears you could go over 200.

The Bowtie Overdrive tools are very useful. I think for now I will leave it be and see how it feels once I get the car back together, but I think that 3.42 will be about right. Thanks guys.
