      with all the inner panels made it was time to weld them all in and with the body solid again it was taken off the chassis to weld the under side.

      body of the frame for final welding underneath and with the body off the frame is clear to see. next job is to mount the fuel tank and run all the fuel and brake lines as well as the exhaust.

      Not at all familiar with the regulations you face, will you be able to register this for road use when you're finished? We are blessed and cursed in my state, you can build about anything and if you have the VIN and title, register it and drive it. Blessed that you can build some amazing creations and drive them, cursed because you can build some seriously dangerous junk and drive it.

      we have a points system here , its so many points for changing the engine, so many for changing the front axle and so on but like mine its an instant IVA test.

      I've always been an air cooled VW fan, Some updates would be interesting,
