      Left Handed or Right Handed

I have been working on a project at work that kids will be able to write on, and the pen and handle are setup for right handed people. And of the four people that are working on it three of us are left handed. So, we all get together an gripe about how the world is against left handed people. I just wondered how many people here are left or right handed, or both like I am. I write left handed and I do most everything else right handed. But I can play most sports either left or right. Any at work I change my mouse from left to right every few months to keep my mouse hand from getting worn out.

Right Handed---my left hand is nearly useless. Being ambidextrous would come in real handy while working construction, on cars, or any sort of labor, really.

I know what you mean. My buddy has the same situation.

I am truly a righty but can use my left when needed for tough bolts/tight places. Then again there are just those times my hands are too big regardless of orientation.

I'm right handed, but can weld using my left hand as the dominant hand...dunno if that would count as ambidextrous.

I'm left-handed, though I am able to work on things with either hand. I just can't write with my right hand.

Lefty. Bat and throw right side. Hammer left. Darts either. Shoot pistols, either. Hit car when made at it, either.

Armwrestling? Usually only win with my left hand. ??? I guess I am just weird!

Right handed. But, I can do anything with my left hand that I can do with my right provided I cannot see my left hand. For instance, reaching into some deep dark blind section of an engine compartment with my left hand to do something very precise is not a problem but I can't dial a phone with my left hand because I can see it.

LOL, All my life I thought I was the only weird one. I write righthanded, but play ball, golf and most everything else lefthanded. I am a carpenter by trade and use either hand to hammer. However, here is the weird part. My brother is absolutely opposite from me. He writes left handed but everything else is done with his right hand. I thought we were the only ones in the world like that.
Anyway, I did not vote cause I was not sure how to.LOL

I write and eat lefty and do most of my mechanical work with my left hand. However, I can use my right hand to get into tight places (exhaust work, sparkplugs, etc.) while working on the car, like True mentioned. It wasn't that difficult to adapt because I've been playing the trumpet for 20 years. It's a right-handed instrument.

Im right handed. but can work on my car with both.

You guys talking about using your opposite hands for things was making me laugh thinking about in "Gone in 60 seconds" in the begining when the guy is talking about sitting on his left hand till it goes numb and then calling it the STRANGER!
