      1969 Pontiac Firebird

I have owned this car for around 7 years and it has been a great toy. Starts right up and drives great. It was restored some years before I bought it, the job was done well. The paint looks fantastic with no real dings or scratches to note. Maybe a couple nicks, but no rust or bubbles anywhere. Was told most of the sheetmetal is original. I would rate it between driver quality and show car. Interior is stock and in good condition.

When I got the car it was in stock form. I added the ridetech adjustable coilover system all around (over $5k package, plus install) The car rides 100 times better, handles like its on rails. I then added the wheels and tires. 18" staggered 8" fronts and 9.5" rear American Racing. They have a custom shop you can order to your exact wants. I went with the 2 piece brushed metal centers with polished lips. No curbing, they are in great shape. Tires are 275/35/18 and 235/40/18.

The original owner told me (I didn't buy it from him) that he rebuilt the motor (original he said) and that it had a mild cam added. He said to not touch the motor, it was great. It's a 350 with the 4 barrel upgraded. If anything could be added, maybe headers. Has a great sound from the exhaust, dumps under the car.

This Firebird has AC, power steering, automatic, power breaks, rear drum, front discs. The radio is not working but looks like theres speakers, I've never looked into it. I rarely drive it, just a busy lifestyle with work and kids. I'd like to get something more suited to that lifestyle, maybe a classic 4x4 suv, something I don't feel so bad to just hop in and take kids somewhere. But when I do decide to get it out, just pump the gas 3-4 times, turn the key and feather the gas a bit, fires right up after maybe 3 seconds.

The car gets so many thumbs up and compliments when I get it out. Be ready to talk about it wherever you stop. It has even taken best of show at one of the two shows I entered it in. I'm partial to Pontiacs, But I think the Firebird just looks a touch nicer than the Camaro. Just don't see many of them.

Notable items to mention. Interior I'd give 8.5/10 and exterior 9.5/10 given the age.
Some rubbing on front tires if you turn and dip at the same time, but the coilovers are adjustable so you could raise it a touch.
Dash has a crack on one edge by the windshield.
      Seatbelt latch cover broke.
Drips a little oil here and there.
I can think of two nicks in the paint.
Stock rally wheels and tires included.
Its a 50 year old car, its in wonderful shape, but it is still an old car.

It lives in my detached garage and the kids know not to go near it. I'm kinda picky with any of my vehicles. I love to detail my cars, I have done a light two stage correction to the paint a few years ago.

I have it listed on Ebay right now, buy it now of $34k. So thats where the asking price is
I live in southern Indiana, Jasper.
