It is a t56 close ratio(.63) 6th gear it was probably out of a Camaro but not sure. It will mount up to any ls engine I believe

Don’t want to separate the parts at this point

The guy that built my car said the engine had 2800” on it but no way for me to know the true mileage. It shifts really nice and doesn’t leak or anything. It’s a nice trans.

      Typo. 28000 miles

The car hobby is dangerous,if the speed doesn't kill you, the cost of parts will.

???? That plate looks like one that is used for adapting LT1 style t56 to SBC motors.

This looks like a LT1 camaro T56 with a Viper tail housing. I would have to see the drivers side of the trans to know for sure.
Maybe a D&D kit from before the TR6060/Magnum transmissions came out???

I can’t figure out how to post drivers side picture here but I can send to you if you text me at(614) 783-8380. The bellhousing looks like you could bolt an old school 4 speed to it so the plate enables you to mount the newer t56. Also you need that extra 1/2” of spacer so the input shaft has the correct depth into the crank/pilot bearing.
