      Unsolicited advice. Water won't leak where gas will.....plus it's a pain to get all the water out of the tank.

      Use compressed air, tape up all the holes, you can even leave your fuel pump in, and blow some air in the filler neck. Not a lot, you are not trying to pressurize the tank much over 15 psi, then use bubbles to find your leak.
