      My 68 vert is alive

Finally fired up my chevelle last night. 502 is hooked up to a hughes T400 and GV bought off the forum a couple of weeks back (thanks Jim). Hope to have it driving within the month.

I see something in the pic of you car that I am curious about. Is that a mirror delete pate on your door? If so, where do you get something like that? I know some mopars (roadrunners, etc.) were available without side mirrors. Maybe that is not what it is, I'm curioud because I like the look.

      Thanks,
      Rich

It looks more like the mount for the mirror to me.

      It is the mirror mount...

As for the wheels, they are 18x8 up front and 18x10 in back.... I'll have to double check, but the front tires are 245/45 and the rears are 285/50's.... have a set of tt2 with 295/35's on the rear, but the fat/tall rear tire looks right on this car for some reason... will take some side shots when I roll it out.

Great, I'm glad to hear that. I will be posting an update on my car in a day or two as well. It's now on the frame and I'm almost ready to put some new Billet Specialties on it. Check out my post in project updates sometime.

Thanks - scored 67 and 68 plates with 502 on them at the same swap meet... that is good luck.
