Hooker 1st Gen LS1 Swap Headers?

I saw this while looking at some of Summit Racing's SEMA Pics.

      Hooker LS1 Swap Headers

According to the information with the picture, Hooker is coming out with Long Tube LS1 Swap Headers for 1st Gens. Anybody have any more information about them?

Hooker makes quality headers at a reasonable price, so this should be good option for many of us.

Damn! I just have ordered Hooker U-bends to make my own headers.

They look sharp. Just wonder what height the motor is placed at for those, and what adapterplate they have used.

They do look nice, I'm not really sure if they'll clear the stock steering box.

Well it seems they want you to buy their mounts and that they will clear the stock box.

Here are the part #'s i got from a summit tech:
      HOK-2288HKR LS1 ENGINE SWAP HEADER 494.69 (uncoated)
      HOK-2288-1HKR COATED HEADERS 614.69
      HOK-12611HKR MOUNT KIT 70.69

I'm gonna order up a pair and ill let everyone know how they fit in early january.

Hooker actually has a bunch of mounts in the catalog of older applications. I do believe that these headers will also work with the S&P mounts.

Do you have any idea how close the ATS mounts are to the S&P mounts? If they are the same I might order a set myself.

I wish I had these options a few months back when I ordered my S&P shorties: Hooker & SW LT's for stock steering...

      Anybody need S&P shorties???
