Finally found a T56! But have some questions...

Hello all! As the title says I've finally tracked down and bought a t56. It's out of a 1997 firebird. I know I need to do the input shaft and front plate conversion so if anyone happens to have these parts for sale please dm me lol. But the help I need is with getting the proper parts for swapping it in. I'm going to be putting this behind a 6.0L iron block LQ4 and stuffing this drivetrain in a 68 Camaro. I really want to keep my console so what are you guys using for shifters? I've done some reading about having to move the console back and such and while if it comes to that I'll do it but I'd really like to keep everything in its factory positions. Any help is always appreciated and pics would be wonderful. Thanks and have a great one guys!
