      BMR Torque Arm Rear and Speedtech Front

      Hi all,

      I have a '68 Camaro that I've recently installed the Speedtech UCAs, LCAs, and ridetech single adjustable coil-overs. I've been having a hard time deciding on the rear setup, but I'm drawn to the BMR torque arm system because it's bolt-in and has the Watts link. I don't want to cut the body of my car up. BMR seems to pair their systems with Viking coilovers.

      According to BMR, the Viking shocks they use are C205W with a compressed height of 10.04", extended height of 13.86", and a 9" spring with 225lb rate. Would a ridetech shock with a compressed height 10.13", extended height of 14.23", and a 8" or 10" spring work just as well? I'm sure I'm completely missing certain factors.

      Are there any potential issues with running Speedtech in the front and BMR for the rear? Are there issues with mismatched shocks? Or am I going to run into more problems by not using the recommended Viking shocks with the BMR Torque arm?

      The ridetech Shocks may work if the Body of the Shock is not too big (it get's real tight back there).



      There are no issues with Speedtech up front & ours in the back, Blake & the guys at Speedtech make good products

      Awesome, thank you. Although I haven't been able to test speedtech's suspension out yet, but their customer service, like y'alls, has been awesome.
