      doorslammer71 = doorslammer; drag car with doors (no rail jobs, altereds or funny cars!) 71; the year I was hatched. I thought it was catchy with my drag racing buddies but NOBODY from the non car world gets it. OH Well...

      NovaPwr

      Car is a 72 Nova, license plate is NovaPwr.....always reminds me of the 60's when I was a kid. Left my last Little League game of the season in the summer of 1969 and had to ride past the local bowling lanes parking lot hang out on a Friday evening. Group of older kids all sittin on the hoods of their cars drinkin beers hangin out with some cute girls. Guy wants my bicycle to ride around on ( standard 26"Schwinn with the front tire powered generator light and paperboy dual rear baskets) so I stand by the car with his girl and she sees me looking the car over. New 69 Nova SS!Don't remember if it was a big block or sb car but she says to me when I was leaving as she whipped me a peace sign, "nova power baby". Never forgot that.

      My name is Max... and, well, I've got to be mad to take this hobby up. My pockets are crying. I also watched the movies Madmax when I was a kid (they were made before I was born - all three!!) and took the name from that.

      I was the starting third baseman in high school all four years. Our team was ranked in the top ten of the state of california for our division in 2003 with a (17-1) league record. I am young and that is all I can brag about at this point. It was better than my high school nickname. Which probably isn't appropriate(sp?).

      Harshman,
      Not always!!
      Sometimes the windows are bare with no curtains at all.
      So it is really difficult to tell.

      I'm a Scot.

      I competed in the highland games for a while, probobly some of the stuff you guys see on ESPN, heavy throwing events, caber, 56lb weight for distance, heavy hammer throw. (none of the spinning stuff the olympians get to do.)

      qwik = quick
      1320 = # of feet in a quarter mile

      My 73 runs a low 13, high 12 (with good tires) in the quarter mile. Not fast, just quick...

      My first car and still own it was an 87 Fullsize bronco. I lifted it, put in a built motor I did myself and I spray the crap out of it with nitrous. Still is a decent mudtoy for sure!
