Tires
hey guys, need some help choosing some tires for my car.
my wheels will be here next week and i need to get some rear tires. i would like a race/street tire like the nitto, are they any good??? and do they offer a 335/30/18 and a 275/4018 though the front may change the rears are what they are, please let me know, i heard some thing about toyo but am not sure, the new nitto looks real nice. i want something that can handle alittle rain just in case i get stuck out.

Nitto is coming out with or has just released larger sizes in their performance series. They have them in a more drag racing tire now. I have the BFG KDs on my 67. I have yet to use them, but others seem to like them.

Jake,
You probably want a 275/35/18, as a 275/40/18 is going to be slightly taller than the 335. I know nitto makes the 275/35/18 in the 555, and I heard they had 335s, but the last time I was on their site, I didn't see them. Keep in mind, Nitto doesn't make a 295/35/18, if you do need to switch to those later on.
