      Rear sway bar tube

I've looked for the post again regarding using an outer sway bar tube but can't find it. I'm thinking it was a response from Ron Sutton recalling a past experience with too little lateral movement causing a car to wander. My question is what is the science behind a sway bar within a tube instead of a single bar captured by bushings. I'm thinking of mounting the bar bushings to the frame (giving up advantage of unsprung weight) with the arms forward and connecting to the leaf spring lower mount plate on my 68 Camaro. Also, wouldn't the car be more reactive to the bars rating if the arm was located to the inside of the bushing mounted to the frame rails, especially if the bar had a reduced diameter at the center. All technical advise is appreciated. Thank you.
      Jeff
