      Plastic part stripping

Anyone know if the urethane bumper paint stripper is safe for stripping the plastic parts on my 69 Firebird? not sure what they used in 69 and I do not want to mess them up.
      Thanks
      Bill

Not sure what exact stripper you're looking at or exact parts on your firebird, but pretty safe to say yes. A lot of your parts could be abs.
There is aircraft brand plastic bumper stripper at pep boys, etc -ok. Also 3-m safest stripper may be good, can't remember, it is ok on fiberglass entry doors I've dealt with. Dad's easy spray at certain ace hardware, etc , sprays on from plastic sprayer & gels up, used on interior abs parts before.

ALSO:::::: brake fluid. Comes in a plastic container, right.
