      flexible interior chrome trim

im looking for a flexible interior chrome trim used in custom upholstery. what im referring to is the type of trim that would be in a door panel of my 69 camaro. roughly 1/8"-1/4" width. im building a custom center console and am not sure what this stuff is actually called or where to get it. Anybody know what it is that im looking for?

Don't discount using the flexible chrome mylar trim sold in most AutoZones, Pep Boys, and Advanced Auto. Its available in various widths, its got a 3M adhesive backing, and honestly can't be told from metal unless you look SUPER close. It has a protective clear covering that should be peeled off once you apply it. Many people leave the clear on, not knowing that your looking at the trim through a no so clear film. Might be perfect for your console project but it also depends on what its adhering to. If you're thinking of applying it to a padded or soft surface, you obviously can't pull it down and tight. Surface trim only.

I think this is what I'm looking for. I was unsure of what it's called and where to get it. It will be placed on the vinyl wrapped around the console, so a nice firm surface. If I can find the stuff I think it will tie the console in nicely to the interior without looking "too" custom
