variable speed controller for a single speed a/c blower motor

I know this isn't necessarily pro-touring related but does anybody have any recommendations for variable speed controller for an a/c fan motor?

we had to replace the a/c blower motors in my dads 73 peterbilt cabover and the originals are a 2 speed motor with 1 wire for high, and 1 wire for low speed. The only replacement motors are a single speed motor so we have wide open or off for fan speed. I have searched around a bit and can find all sorts of controllers but as I have no experience with such controllers I don't know which ones are good and which ones are junk. I would preferably like a controller with a "remote" mount speed control knob so that hopefully I can put the knobs where the toggle switches that controlled them before are.

You could always use a resistor pack and a 3 or 4 position switch. The resistor pack should be mounted in the ducting so it gets airflow.

I've had good luck with this company- out of Canada- and used several of their PWMs

The potentiometer is not remote- but could easily be done-

This one handles 30A- and shipped about $30

that's exactly the kind of thing I'm after, google turns up numerous choices so its good to know that someone has used this brand and had good luck. thanks guys I may give these a try.
