      1970 Chevelle project

I have been keeping it quite for years now, but I got a REAL bad deal from a board member here on PT and got screwed hardcore on my 69 GTO project while I was in Afghanistan (as in $24,000 worth of paint screwed) . Still trying to get back to the car,Name: resized 1.jpg

1970 Chevelle, actual 1370xxxxx car, clean title in my name, no back fees owed. I have owned the car since 2005, it has been an ongoing project through many years of the military life and such. The car was stripped to the shell and media blasted in 2007, then acid primered. In 2008 the car was on a rotisserie when the cabin floors had patches welded in to the few spots that needed it, then taken from the rotisserie and on the frame had a complete trunk floor kit installed, inner and outer wheel wells installed, new trunk drop offs installed, and a few small patches in the trunk area. The car sat since then in storage in a garage, and was only removed in 2015 when I shipped it from Pa to Ca. Before being shipped I had a full drivers quarter installed for shipping, and since it got here in Jan 2015 the car has been inside my shop. There is no motor/transmission with the car, the chassis is complete and original, the chassis/frame has only been apart for the time it was on the rotisserie. There are a ton of parts with this car, there are several cars worth of trim. Multiples of Chevelle trim 70-72, and other trim which I do not even know the origin of anymore. Several new parts in boxes still, several left over new body pieces that were left off in favor of the original parts. The horseshoe console/shifter, is near complete. The round gauge dash is a 72, but the gauges are all correct for 70 (green letter), the dash pad is non stereo but in decent shape. The bucket seats are broken down to the frames/springs, there is a 4 way power seat track for the driver, new soft parts will be needed. The panels that were installed were not finished, just placed and fit, they will need finish alignment/welding. There are two or three small spots that will need a patch (1/2” or smaller). The fenders are rough and need patches, I bought replacements, however they were sold before the car came out here. Rear glass, and side glass is present and the correct “green tint”, the windshield was tossed as it was broken. The window regulators were hot tank cleaned, and the tracks media blasted and galvanized. The original wiring is included, however I always suggest people replace the wiring as electrical fires from 40 yr old broken insulation ruin more projects than American Hotrod. No rear seat, it wasn’t worth keeping. I think I still have the door panels, but again they are not in the best of shape. The car needs work, no doubt about it. I know there are many things I am forgetting about, and many pieces I am leaving out, if there is anything specific that you wish to know just ask. If you are interested PM me and I will respond as quick as possible. I am asking $3750.00 for everything, but I am open to reasonable offers.

      New body panels/pieces:
      Pass quarter- skin
      Drivers quarter- full
Trunk- three piece with rails and tank supports
      Quarter drop offs
      New badges, door handles
Round gauge SS dash with green letter gauges
Horseshoe shifter with center console and plenty of spare parts/trim
