      Holley Passenger side AC Bracket

I wanted to post this here so that others might avoid frustration in the future.

This part as supplied from Holley does not come with the idler pulley and tensioner needed to complete the install.

Furthermore the bracket is only designed to work with a corvette tensioner, meaning if you bought the part number for an F-Body or Truck accessories your current tensioner will not work, you'll be buying another one.

FURTHERMORE (Yes there's more) the Dayco part number listed in the instructions will not work. The backside of the tensioner is too big and interferes with the Holley bracket. I'm going to get a factory Corvette tensioner this coming week to see if it will clear the bracket better.

HOLLEY, just include the damn parts needed to make this work. The part is expensive enough that charging another $75 to include what is needed to finish the job should be no big deal. I know I certainly would have paid the extra $$$ to have the kit include everything that is needed instead of opening the box and finding out it is essentially a half cooked deal.

This has been one step forward and two steps back throughout. All of this of course leaves out the cobbled together way Vintage Air/ Sanden does their stuff.

I agree to a point. They should atleast list all the parts you need depending on what you already have. I had corvette accessories so all I needed to buy was the idler pulley. I was shorted one bolt and Holley said they would send me one....3 weeks later....still waiting.
