      hydraboost brakes

      hello all. I have a 79 trans am fitted with hydraboost brakes. I have bought PTFB adjustable brace but I cant fit them as my master cylinder is to long and wide. as anyone had this problem how did you get over this. I want to keep my braces my master cylinder is the MCPV1 BY CPP. I have baer disc brake all round. cheers kev

      Is intersecting at the proportioning valve or master cylinder?

      I believe mine cleared but I had the old non adjustable version of the PTFB braces that used thinner tubing. Been a while so I can't remember. The ones now are more beefed up so that might be a problem for you. You definitely shouldn't have problems if you were to switch to manual brakes.

      More important thing to know right is where the intersection is.

      I have the hydratech hydraboost with the polished CPP MCPV1 master cylinder. the master cylinder is 8.5" long and 4.5" wide. it also as the built in proportioning valve looking for another master cylinder that's not as big that will fit. will check later to see how much room I have
