Need Recommendations on Driveshaft Shops

I need recommendations for where to buy a driveshaft for my T56 swap in a first gen. A google search turns up lots of options, but I'd like to use someone that has a good reputation here. Obviously I haven't measured driveline angles yet, so I don't know if I'll need a CV, but I would like for the shop to have that as an option if it turns out I need it.

We use Dynotech Engineering www.dynotecheng.com or Inland Empire Driveline www.iedls.com for all our driveshafts. They've always provided us with excellent products and we've never had an issue with fitment, performance, or quality.

i've used Inland Empire Drivelines for my drive shafts and never had an issue, i'll be going back to them for my next driveshaft after swapping my 9 inch rear into my new car.

There is only one place that makes the kind of CV driveshafts that you're talking about and they can also make a regular shaft. It's The Driveshaft Shop in NC...

I used a place called Tatton's Driveshafts in Utah. I think he is big in the Jeep world, but he told me what measurements he wanted for a custom length driveshaft....about a week later it was at my front door. He shipped it to me cheaper than my local shop would do the job for

I purchased a 3" diameter chromemoly Strange drive shaft with 1350 U-joints and billet transmission yoke from Summit. Give Summit a call and they will direct you to a worksheet on their site that you download, fill out and fax to them. Once they verify the info they will pass it on to Strange. Great price and my order arrived in about 4 business days.

PEM just built a 3.5" aluminum shaft with 1350 ends and Sonnax Yoke for my Camaro. Good price and fast turn-around

I hear that The Driveshaft Shop is good but, I decided to try Dynotech Engineering. I was told that Dynotech Engineering builds most of the driveshafts for the NASCAR teams. Dynotech Enginnering built my carbonfiber half and drive shafts for my C4 Corvette. A mistake on my end was made about the length of the dsriveshaft. After Dynotech Engineering built the original driveshaft accordingly, I had to have them make me a second shaft. They were willing to exchange and work with me on the cost of the second shaft and turn-around build time quickly and hand carry it to Lingenfelter's for me.

I definitely will use them again.
