      Project 68-40 Mustang

My birthday is coming up this spring and I knew it was time to start a new Project car.

      68 Coupe
347w Stroker, Eagle internals, Roller with a big Lunati Cam, Ported Fox Heads and 93 GT Block. T-5 Conversion, Willwood manual Disc conversion in the front, No P/S or A/C and a Quickfuel 750 Drag Carb

So far I've managed to break a Ujoint on the way home from buying it and I also managed to screw up his serpentine trash the PO had on it.

A new March Alternator Bracket, Timing cover, Dipstick and Lunati Gear drive are waiting to go in tomorrow.

I'd like to tear it all down right now but I've been without a Project car for so long, I just want to drive it for a while. I'll be ordering Parts over the winter to make it the proper G-Machine. I think the first year is mostly figuring out what Dr. Frankenstein did to his monster before I got it.

      Nothing Fancy yet:

good to see another mustang on here- my cousin has a 67 we are slowly improving on and my 64 has been apart for four years so i understand wanting to keep it driving awhile.

I finally got a short video of it running. Not sure I trust it yet as a Daily driver but it's coming along.

Hats off for driving it for awhile. I've been working on projects for 6 years and drove the Mustang prob only 6 times.
