Offset shifter
I found a picture of an offset shifter for the forward location and I think its what I need for my t56 install in my 69 firebird to put the shifter pretty close to the original location. Anyone know if this is still available the info I got was its made by driveline components co. cant find anything about the company

Offset shifter
American Powertrain and silver sport transmissions both have offset shifters that may work.

Marbil, This is similar, most likely the same as you pictured..I plan to use one in my 68 once the tranny is in and I can measure the exact offset location.
