Hyd Roller Lifters adjust just like a flat-tappet.
When you first install rotate the pushrod in place, tighten the rocker until you feel resistance on the pushrod, than go to the next.
Once all the pushrods are preloaded, fire up the engine.
One at a time loosten the rockers until the valve starts to clatter, than tighten the rocker until the clatter stops, than go an additional 1/2 turn. Just go down the line on each bank until you are done.

ok thanks. how about the polly locks, whats the deal wit them. do the allen screws in the tops need to be loosened prior to install or do they just get tightened down after the valves are adjusted?

If you have poly locks you can do the adjustment cold really easy. Loosen the set screw in eacy poly lock. Then rotate the engine watching the exhaust and intake valves for the #1 cylinder. When the intake closes, then rotate the engine a little further to ensure the intake is completely closed. Thread the poly locks down till them rub on the rocker arm fulcrum. Then give it a half turn extra and tighten the set screw in teh poly lock. the rotate the engine and watch the next cylinder in line and do the same process for those two valves. Should be perfect and you won't need to get all messy by running the engine to do the loosen/tapping method as described above.
