      drop top project

Here is another of the four chevelle projects we have going. This car actually has a pretty long story behind it. We bought what we believed to ba a very solid 66 Chevelle convertable of E-Bay...well needless to say it unrepairable, in fact even the frame was rusted in two and was being help together by some sheetmetal screws and sheet metal the had been blacked out on the bottom of the frame. That was just one of the many problems with the car...I should have pics of it this weekend. So we decided that we would buy a good solid coupe and make use of our convertable top and inner structure that was still good on the car....

So here is the coupe, soon to be convertable as of last night and here is the list of panels to be either replaced or removed and installed

      Floor braces
      Floor pans (front, rear, trunk)
      Inner quarters
      full qaurters
      New doors
      New fenders
      new core support
      inner fenders
so basically everything but he rockers and a-pillers

No details on the build yet as we aren't sure on power train yet, it does have some killer DPEngineering wheels on it

oh and project name has yet to be determined as of now it is known as project WTF (what the $$$$ have we gotten ourselves into)

Damn when did you order your wheels? I'm still waiting for my wheels to come in. Ordered them on the 1st of September. They just now went to the Anodizer for the center finish.

Yup...with lots of emphasis on cut! That is going to be real nice!
