      Diffrent wheel options.

I need some ideas. So basicly just post up some diffrent wheels pics and info if possible.

I want some wheels that will go along with the vintage trans-am feel I want my car to have. I would like the sizes to be 17" but I am open to new ideas. Also it would be nice if the wheels were reasonible in price.

I'll be using those on my '68 Camaro. I'll have the centers PC flat black.

Honestly right now I want either the wheels in my second post or some origional Torq Thrust. Either wheel will be black center and the size will most likely be 17 inch.

Also I kinda dont want stripes. But if i did I might have to copy what steevo has on his camaro.

I don't think the Team III wheels would look all that hot on a Nova. Just my opinion though.

Why not. I think it could look good if the car had the right stance.

Also which wheels would be cheaper?

They have a serious road race heritage as they are styled after the minilite/panasport. Just dosen't seem to fit the Nova really. I think a lean more toward NASCAR might be more fitting. My opinion only. The TTII with the dark center in the photochop above IMO looks KILLER.

The team III wheels are gonna set you back 325-355 per.

If you want more flash, Budnik has some nice offerings that I think would look nice on that thing.
Particularly the Tiller, Knuckle, Flare, GTX4 and Arrowhead.

The Mini-Lites are GREAT! You better not mind talking to strangers though, because people are going to be lined up asking you questions! If for no other reason, get them because they aren't TT IIs. No offense to TT owners, just encouraging someone to break from the norm. I'm sure a few TT owners wish they had those wheels.
I also dig the AAR stripes on the Nova. Mix it up a little!

But I dont think the nova did much racing except for drag racing. This whole thing is still up in the air, but you are kinda swaying me towards TTII's.

The one thing I know for sure is I dont want a flashy wheel, thats just not me.

I think TTIIs or Vintage Wheel Works V45s with a gloss black, or gloss anthracite powdercoated center would look really nice on your car.......and the new spoiler looks great.

Your 69 Nova would look killer with a set of these wheels. How many Novas are running them?

the team IIIs look cool. I've never seen them in person before. Are they a cross between a TT2 and a minilite? Either way, rad wheel.

They also hadn't invented 17" rims and tires. Are you making a clone with the car or a statement with it? IMO, do the rims You haven't seen a thousand pairs of.....

I'm not going to say don't do TTII's because they are played out... but uhhh...

The Team 3's are a lot like Panasport's, which I like on vintage race cars, even this here datsun.

      http://www.panasport.com/racing.html

It's not what you asked but I think 18" Rallye's would look choice.
Hallibrand (sp?), I like those and they have the old school style.

      Halibrand

Clint Hooper should know where to buy the Halibrand Kidney Bean replicas. Clint does anyone make an 18" and let us know the best place to order.
