      1964 Dodge truck- Rusty Goat

I'm in the process of building a Pro-Touring truck. The goat was a 500 ci. Cadillac powered rat rod with air ride. The truck is now being completely redone. It's getting a built ls3, Tremec t-56 magnum tranny, and ford 9" with 390 tru track. The truck is also receiving Baer brakes on four corners, I'm also running all new ridetech suspension. Also running a ATL fuel cell. Everything is going to be new. Here is a few pictures of the truck before. Let me know what you think.

I love how it looks, really hope you do not paint it. Some type of Dodge powerplant might be a little more inspired for my taste (new Hemi or something similar). But sounds like a great build plan. What about the frame?

Agreed on both not painting it and using a modern hemi vs an LS engine. Really cool truck.

These dodge trucks are super cool. Will follow with interest. Paint/no paint, hemi or LS I am pretty sure it will be awesome.

The truck is staying like it is, it's not going to get painted. Everyone like the patina look, I painted most of the patina on it.

I like the "Dare to be Different" aspect of these trucks. Kind of like Sharpei dogs, they're so ugly they're cool. If it were me, I'd section the front wheel wells up some to better match the height of the rears. Other than that, I dig the hell out of it.

Cool looking truck, but I'll be glad when the whole patina trend is over with.

Good call on the wheel wells. That does seem odd that the fronts are so much lower than the rears. That's the opposite of what you would expect.

I think it looks fantastic and your plans sound fine, don't listen to what other people think. Do what you want, no matter what!

Why the V10 when you can have its power figures with a 6.4 crate... Mopar offers a wiring harness and unlocked ECU-kit for the 2015+ engines (going that route with my '85 Dodge).

Definitely going to be a cool truck with the upgrades planned. I'd love to see some pics of how the Magnum install goes!
