      Griffin LS Radiator Combo fans

Does the Griffin LS combo radiator # CU-00009-LS with the 2 -12" fans flow enough air for 450HP LS1 with manual trans. Looks like the total flow is 1722cfm. I would assume it works as its what they do as a business, but real world reviews are always good.

It's seems like a pretty good bang for the buck with the accessories.

I have that exact radiator in my 1965 Buick Skylark. The motor is a 427 based LS3 with around 625HP at the motor. However I used the Derale 16830 fan assemble that is suppose to put out 3750cfm with two 12" fans. I used the factory ECM to control the fans and the lowest it comes on is around 210F and goes off around 194F. I don't want the fans coming on and off all the time so I have to space it some.

In my situation it is marginal in the Summer as it will go up to 220+ or so. Their combination may work better and your motor is a little lower in horsepower so it may work just fine for you.

That's good info, did you use the Griffin shroud with the derailed fans?

The Derale fan assembly comes complete with the shrouds. Here is a link to it at Summit Racing. However my fans are opposite of those pictured. The left fan is at the bottom and the right fan is at the top on my car. That works just fine in my can as the cold air intake goes to the drivers side to the engine compartment with the air filter in the front left fender well area.
