      Hazard lights not working

I have an aftermarket Flaming River steering column with the GM wire harness going to an aftermarket Summit Racing full car wiring harness. In both instruction sheets they say connect brown wire to brown wire. Flashers aren't working. Everything else works though. I even have constant hot coming from the fusebox as well as tried a flasher module in between the wires but it still does not work. Any thoughts?

I would close/bridge the 4-Ways circuit on both sides of the column harness connector. If the 4-Ways flash by closing/bridging the circuit, I would check for power at the switch and if there is power at the switch close/bridge the circuit at the switch. If the 4-Ways flash, bad 4-Way switch.
