Seriously, looks like another fun project to add to the pile.
Without hi-jacking the thread, how is the Macan working out? Sold my Performance Tuned TDI Cayenne when I got sick and bought the wife a TDI Q5. I put the tune on the Q5 and went to Texas and back a couple weeks ago and lucky I didn't get arrested. Was playing with a Caddy CTS and BMW X6 M on the way down and we had 6-7 cars between OKC and Wichita running 100-120mph on the way home for about 40 miles [almost no traffic]. I would actually like to have a TDI Macan which will probably never happen now post TDI scandal but it does sound like we are going to be able to keep our Q5 at least. Sounds like the forced buy back isn't required with the urea injection models.
Back on topic . . . anxious to hear about the plans for this fastback. I'm building a pro-touring '87 442 at the moment. Down at the moment waiting on the rear end work to get done.

the macan turbo is killer, highly recommended. this is my 2nd one, very sporty SUV.
