How is the DFW area? Not quite as far south as Houston but not sure it would make a difference. I was in Oklahoma City for the Hot Rod Power Tour and it was blazing hot, and that's 200 miles farther north.

I'm in San Antonio and I don't find the humidity that bad. It's about 10% on average lower than Ohio was. I will say that San Antonio sucks. Mainly the drivers, but I don't care for the majority of the people here either.

      Enjoy your new home.
We should do lunch or something while you're here...

Weather in Dallas is just as hot or more so than OK City.

My impression is that here in Dallas the humidity is a little lower than SA. Dallas is culturally VERY different than SA, that is for sure. Dallas also varies a bit depending on where you are in the Metroplex. I grew up out in El Paso, lived 13 years in the Austin area, and now 10-1/2 here in the north Dallas suburb of Plano. Dallas is drier than Austin and also very different. Austin did not have as much car culture as the Dallas area when I was there, not sure how much that has changed since they added the F1 track. Not knocking it, I was the President of the Mopar Muscle club in Austin when I left, just by volume way fewer car events in Austin compared to Dallas.
