      Detroit Speed firewall panel

I'm trying to figure out the best and cleanest way to weld this panel in to smooth the firewall on a 67 Camaro. I've seen pics of the panels being spot welded every inch or so but never fully welded all the way around. The question is do I fully weld the panel in or just spot weld it every half inch all the way around before I bodywork it. Also has anyone used seam sealer smoothed out instead of bondo?

completely weld around the panel. Tig if you can. If your going to wire feed. small sections at a time cooling the weld with compressed air as you go.

Spot it every 1/2 inch and seal the rest with panel adhesive. I use 3M 8115.
