Oil pan needs

I have a x Cup car with a low hp GM crate motor in it that I wanna autos if I can talk Goodguys in letting me run it
it is a stock wet sump engine with a stock pan..... Do I need to fab up a kick out pan with trap doors on either side to keep from starving this deal n blowing it up? I can't afford to put a accusump on it unless I find one that I can borrow
