Other air cleaners were super restrictive and had the little metal insert in the end of it that I guess comes off and usually trashes the compressor wheel on the turbo. So I got rid of those. Since I am a little cramped for space I picked up these “shorty turbo” K&N filters and it definitely is breathing way better. The Turbo needs 1000cfm of air flow and in most cases the only way to do that is to run a turbo guard or a HUGE air filter. These aren’t flowing that much. But they’re much better than the others. Heat wrapped the pipes too.
