1985 Dodge 300 2WD Crew Cab Short Bed
My 20 year old daughter just purchased HER first project truck. 1985 Dodge 300 Crew Cab Short Bed. Original 360 4 Speed truck with power steering and brakes. 1985 was the last year Dodge made a crew cab in the 1st Generation body. Dodge re-introduced the crew cab body in 2002.
Does anyone know if there are any easy or package suspension upgrades for the first generation 2WD Dodge pickup chassis?
Initial goal is a 2WD suspension upgrade followed by a 12 valve Cummins install.
We are also considering converting to 4WD which would solve any issues with 2WD suspension upgrades.
Most likely stay 2WD.
Here is what we are starting with. Damn near rust-free with beautiful original floors, cowl, doors and roof. Super body just have a few small places to repair and fill any number of mirror and emblem holes she does not want.
Any suggestions are welcome!
