      T56 Tremec Transmission

6 speed manual transmission I picked up 3 months ago as a complete pull out of a rear ended Pontiac GTO. I will be keeping the engine but the transmission is up for sale. Car had 89K miles on the odometer. Im installing the engine a 77 Trans Am and was planning on installing the t56 also but I'm now going to be installing a 700r4. Includes the clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinder, and pedal assembly from a 2004 GTO for cable drive throttle body. Everything is in great condition. Previous owner said that clutch and flywheel were replace in 2010 but I have no documentation or invoice for proof but they both are in great condition. Asking $2000 plus buyer pays for any shipping fees. PM me for any questions or for quicker response my cell is 843-817-6448.

Just a quick question....why are you going with the 700R4 over the T56?

The plan was to just retro fit the engine in the trans am and make it fun cruiser. But after some time of thinking it over and getting the go ahead from my wife, I plan on really building the car and engine to go down the track. So its out with the t56 and in with a built 700R. I still want to keep that original bandit look of black and gold on the outside but a monster on the inside.

Good morning Speed Therapy, If you have no use for the fuel rail covers (plastic engine covers, black and silver) I am in need of a set for my car. Being a future race car I was thinking that you may not be installing them. Please let me know if they are available. A PM message would be appreciated. Thank You very much.
