FAST EZ EFI LS with XIM and TCU

OK guys. I really need some help. I bought the FAST kit and have been installing the harnesses and have a few questions. I just got off the phone with their customer service rep and I'm not comfortable with his answers. Hopefully someone on here can shed some light on this stuff.

      1. In the XIM installation instructions, which are not entirely straightforward, it says to connect the Cam/Hall Effect plug into the XFI harness. I don't have an XFI. I have the EZ EFI and it doesn't have a corresponding plug. The FAST rep said don't use it.

      2. Next was the CAN (communication between the units) plugs (a male and a female) on the XIM harness. The instructions say to plug one into the XFI (which I don't have) and terminate the others. The EZ EFI harness doesn't have these connections, but the TCU does. The FAST rep said don't connect any of them and to just terminate them all. The TCU instructions has me connecting those to the XFI (which I don't have). The kit only came with two terminators.

      3. The kit came with a air temp sensor. I have a LS MAF sensor and it has the ATS built into it. The problem is that the harness doesn't have a plug to plug into the MAF, just the ATS. The FAST rep said I don't need a MAF with this system. Just the ATS.

      4. The kit also has provisions for a fuel pump relay so that the fuel pump can be turned on and off by the system. What if I just want to run it through the ignition switch so that when my key is in the run or crank positions, it will power the fuel pump?

      5. The old engine was a 400 ci abc with and HEI distributor. There was a red power wire that went into the distributor and I was wondering if i can use that wire to connect all the pink wires (power on each unit). FAST rep said yes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Pete
