Retrofit IRS to a 67 Camaro

Has anyone attempted to install an IRS unit into a gen1 Camaro? Is it worth the the time and expense?

several companies build nice IRS systems I have installed both an Art and a Heidts, a !st gen with IRS that is setup correctly easily out handles a stick axle (personally) and it will be one of the few upgrades that may happen to my own car in the future...heres a few picks of one of the installs, a 1969 Camaro with 18 inch fronts and 20 inch rear rims

      the kit from heidts

cradle measurements and pre bolt in

      hanging the pumpkin

      setup the arms

assembly and alingments here you can see the heidts subframe connectors and torque bars

      disassembly and then paint

      reassemble

      set stance

      stand back and enjoy!

Looks great, how expensive is the kit ? Most seem to get into the $10,000 mark.

I am using Roadster Shop components in my build...not a Camaro...but they have done plenty of 1st Gens.
Did a lot of research and narrowed my choices to RS or Art Morrison...and after comparing cost, components and end product...RS is was.
Placed order, had it delivered to chassis shop and now it's installed...funny thing is, only time I have seen anything was in a dark storage container
just before I delivered my 'shell'. Chassis guy had never installed one and he was happy will quality and installation.
It is not the 'cheapest', but not crazy for what you get.
