Depends a lot on the gun you are using.

Judging from your cfm rating, I would think you'd be fine. Like Don said, really depends on your paint gun and how much your air fed mask is using. One word of caution though, I would not use a oil lubricated compressor to feed your mask. The air is going to be contaminated with even the most minute oil droplets. You'd better have a really, really good filter system. Most air fed masks are fed either from bottled air or oil less compressed air. Ask me how I know..

was reading through the web last night and found out I need a 3 stage filter system which I am willing to buy. the guns I have are devilbess gti pro the mini and the big gun which use about 15 cfm the mask takes up to 7cfm. so I will be using around 22 cfm so am I ok with 28 cfm don't want to start if the compressor is not man enough. if I buy the 3 stage devilbess filter kit will I be covered using the mask the compressor motors have top up dip sticks for oil so is this what you mean by oil lubricated compressor. thanks for all the help so far cheers kev

Just a decent rated mask , as for paint gun my go to gun for close to 20 years is a Campbell Hausfield 6500 paint gun. I also have Sharpe 775.
But I just painted AND cleared a bumper for 2000 Nissan Maxima. Green Metalic and high solids clear. Same gun for color and clear. I have yet to have any issues in color application or clear.
Heck if you saw where I have shot paint before, under trees, in gravel driveways, the shop I work in. No special booths, or nothing. Honestly just clean up well before painting. Use common sense in breathing apparatus.
You dont need air fed. It happens air fed is luxury.
