      Thanks Hydro-Boost!!!!

I want to thank Paul Clark and his staff at Hydro-Boost for his participation at the Pro-Touring dinner at Sema last week and his GENEROUS donation of an A Body Hydro-Boost system as a door prize.
I was the LUCKY winner of this system!

Paul brought an A body system and amazing enough I am building a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 convertible with 4 wheel disc BIG brakes. A Hydro-boost was on my list of purchases for the car so all I can say is that I was a BIG winner in Las Vegas!

Thanks Paul for your participation and the fine products you bring to our hobby. See you next year at SEMA 2006!

Michael, congrats on the win! Make sure you take some pictures of it. We would like to do a follow up story and possibly install article on all the parts that were given away at dinner.

      Vintageracer did good!

Congratulations Mike - you did good!

Here is a general image of the hydraulic brake assist system that Mike has won:

Here is what it will look like once it is installed:

In addition to the standard production system shown above, we also detailed his assist unit very carefully, then applied a clear coat and then also ovenbaked it. It turned out so nicely that we also installed one of the new design stainless steel polished accumulator slip covers onto the accumulator to take it right over the top! It sure did turn out very nicely!

There is that classic special joy that comes from giving, and we were very proud to be able to provide this system as one of the more upscale items given away as door prizes at this year's PT.com dinner. It tickles me to know that the winner of the system already had it on "the list" of items to obtain, and go figure that we guessed right in setting it up for an A Body!

As you can imagine, some installation pics and a general report of how it all ultimately worked out for you would be appreciated by Hydratech, Pro-Touring.com and also the general PT guys. Whether it's next week, next month, or next year, let us know how it all goes for you!

Thanks for all of the kind words guys!

BTW - Mike, I forgot to let you know that you will need to remove the AN-6 adapter in the rearmost port on the engine side of the assist unit. Why? The lineset provided is designed to plug straight into that port without the use of an adapter. The only reason why we installed that adapter into that port was to contain the fluid positively inside of the assist unit so that it wouldn't drip onto the display table at the dinner, as it was live tested before it was shipped out. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions before, during, after your installation, as you also have our full support available to you.
There IS a difference - Thank you for choosing Hydratech!
