      WS6 Steering Box

Selling an original steering box from my '79 WS6 Trans Am. This performed great on my car and never had any issues. The WS6 steering box is a 14:1 constant ratio, whereas standard units were variable. Nice upgrade for any WS4 Firebird or Camaro.

Note: This will be the box in the picture but pitman arm will not be included. You will need to use your pitman arm whether you car has the Camaro or Firebird version.

      $150 shipped

Yes, this will bolt up for you. The WS6 is constant quick ratio (14:1) steering box. WS4 is a variable ratio steering box.

Damn just bought a new protouring box from custom works or I'd be all over this. Great deal for someone!

Yes, this is a pretty good deal for anyone looking for a rare factory WS6 box.

I was looking at Custom before but after hearing about their business deals and seeing some of the stuff they supply, I won't consider them.

My next steering box will be sourced through Pro-Touring F-Body. I have a few different boxes I'm looking at. I might go with one of the NASCAR style boxes from Turn One but they have a cost.

Custom works has always done right by me. I believe the gear boxes from both places are from PSC. Interesting Keith has always been the man and I've spent quite a bit of money there...and taxed his tech support hours like crazy

That's good if Keith at Custom has done well with supplying your parts and support. I've spoken with him and have seen some of the parts he actually makes (not supplied). His business is running and operational but not my cup of tea.
