      Tri. 4 link install help?

      Hi there,
After a short hiatus I'm finally getting ready to install My triangulated 4 link (control freak) in my 70 Javelin.
I did some extensive searching and have referenced several of my suspension books but dont find much reference to the angle of the LCA's as viewed from above.

With just the looks of the mockup right now, it looks as if my UCR's are about a 20deg angle from the framerails. Thats just the fwd. bracket angle . I may be able to get a couple more degrees depending on how close to the diff. I can get my rear UCR brackets. My first question is; is 20 or so odd degrees enough to effectively laterally locate the rear axle? My install directions don't specify, but I can assume that It's intended that I mount my LCA's parallel as viewed from top and parallel to the framerails. It seems as most aftermarket suspension designers do. There are a couple (namely Alston) that angle their LCA's inward toward the front in the opposite angles to the UCA's. It seems to me that this would help with locating the rear axle even better than just the uppers, or would it tend to introduce bind?

My front brackets are set, but i COULD move my rear (axle) brackets outward a touch and get a reverse angle on the LCA's to the UCA's. Would this be of ANY benefit, or is it a bit of extra trouble for nothing?

Another small question is, all 4 of my links have one poly bush one one end and a poly lined heim on the other end. The directions do not specify which type of endlink goes to the frame bracket, and which goes to the axle. Studying everyone's catalog it seems as if there is no set way on which anyone does it. My inclination is that I put the heim style toward the frame to prevent binding. Does that sound correct?

Thanks for any and all help!!

      Sean
