Need more info on the car. Color of paint, stripes, etc. Black will always look good. Red can look great or like crap depending on the other colors.

Well see the thing is.... The cars not going to have a final paint job on it for a while. I'm more so worried about how its going to work then how its going to look.

Heres a quick pic of the car.

Dew the black then, after paint, have the inserts done to match....

Red is for hookers. Go with black. It will go with anything. I like astro's idea of adding inserts later..

Black would be very safe then you could always do the inserts like Mark said or you could do red stiching.

I've often thought that a Silver exterior with a Red leather interior ala 96 Corvette Grand Sport would look great on my 69.
Black interiors are like bellybuttons,,,everyone has one.
You just have to look outside the box once in awhile.

I've always been a fan of black interiors, but red seats can look very good with some contrast and the right paint color (black or maybe silver). I drove a BMW Z8 a while back that had a red/black interior along with black paint. It looked sweet.

Red interiors, if they are red and not marron, are awesome. Especially on silver, black and red cars. Clint, I kinda like red in Gran Sports also, but would have a hard time doing one.

I am a BiG fan of red interiors on black cars..
My buddy has a P/T 1956 Belair , that is black with red interior and looks sick.

If going with a light exterior color , I would go with a black interior...

my car will be silver with red interior. I didn't have the corvettes on mind though. I was thinking of the old 300SL Gullwing Mercedes. such a classic look. I plan on doing new glass as well. Nothing detracts from a clean interior like scratched up, faded glass.
