Horn problem
I am using a second gen style horn button in my 69 firebird, the horn contact test's hot, when I press the horn button it appears it will be a dead short, am I missing something?
Any and all help most appreciated.

pressing the horn button connects ground to the horn. You are probably seeing the 12v going through the coil of the horn up to the horn switch. If you disconnect the horn I imagine you would see no voltage at the horn switch.
