      72 Camaro front wheel width

I've done some research and have seen that the max width recommended on second gen camaros front wheels (without mods on stock suspension) is 8" with 4.5bs. Has anyone here fit an 8.5" front wheel on a second gen amd if so, does it require a huge amount of modifications so it doesn't rub or hit during turns. Thank you in advance.

Thats about right I have a 1979 Z-28 RS Camaro Pro-Touring car with 17 x 8 inch wheels without any modifications. But if you go any wider you would have to slightly modify the outer lip of the inner and outer fender.

Thank you for the reply. I don't want to modify the fender and I don't want to buy an after market front clip either so I guess its 8" with 4.5" bs. There was just a killer set of wheels I was going to try to fit on it but they don't make them narrower than 8.5" width.
